About Mussoorie

Mussoorie is a hill station and a municipal board in the Dehradun District of the Indian territory of Uttarakhand. It is around 35 kilometers from the state capital of Dehradun and 290 km north of the national capital of New Delhi. The hill station is in the lower regions of the Garhwal Himalayan range

Mussoorie is at a normal height of 1,880 meters (6,170 ft). Toward the upper east are the Himalayan snow ranges, and toward the south, the Doon Valley and Shiwalik ranges. The second most noteworthy point is the first Lal Tibba in Landour, with a stature of more than 2,275 meters (7,464 ft). Mussoorie is prevalently known as The Queen of the Hills.

 

  • Kempty Falls
 

Kempty Falls is a cascade in Ram Gaon and at the south of Kempty, in the Tehri Garhwal District of Uttarakhand, India. It is 13 kilometers from Mussoorie on the Chakrata Road, and 45 kilometers from Dehradun.

  • The Mall Road
 

Most renowned promenade in Queen of the Hills, Mussoorie is The Mall. At a tallness of over 2000 meters, The Mall is a significant fascination in Mussoorie. Pretty much every guest of Mussoorie needs to visit the excellent Mall Road which stretches from Picture Palace at east to the Library at the west.

This is one of the best places to visit in Mussoorie.

Situated at only 6 km before Mussoorie in Dehradun-Mussoorie Rd, Mussoorie Lake is an ideal spot for multi-day out excursion with boating as well.
